Established in 1978 by Joe David Garza, The Cadd Group,
formerly Designs Unlimited, offers a wide variety of quality
services. By embracing technology we have been able to stay
on the cutting edge and provide our clients with the quality service in
a timely fashion. Designs Unlimited was launched in the late 1970’s. Initially, it was only a part time business. In October of 1998 we went to a full time Computer Aided Design Drafting Service due to the amount of work we were receiving. We provide services for the following:

| We currently have our home based office equipped with (4) CAD PC workstations with (4) licenses of Softplan 3D software, Intergraph Imagineer Technical, a 24" wide HP color inkjet plotter and an Oce large format scanner and printer. While others have drafting services of the same type, we are unique in that we offer 3D technology like no other in the South Texas area. Builders and their clients will benefit from the professionalism and first class service. Having this type of service to back your business creates satisfied customers. Individuals with a custom home in mind will enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. We offer many resources such as CD libraries and books with home plans for ideas, building materials, catalogs of appliances and builder resources. Individuals or builders choosing a home from our existing library of designs could save considerable drafting cost. |

| I was born and raised in Kingsville, Texas. I am blessed with my lovely wife Velma and four children. My wife Velma attended Del Mar College majoring in Computer Science and is a proficient Softplan user and serves as accountant administrator. My daughter Michelle has now been working with us sense returning from Christ for the Nations. She has been a great contribution to the business with her cheerful personality and gift in design. My experience starts back with my dad. My father was a carpenter for Texas A&I University. While employed for the college, he was involved in building homes and additions. The knowledge and experience I gained as a youth has greatly contributed to my proficiency. I always had a desire to draw. I started drafting when I was in high school and placed first in many building design contests. After graduation in 1974, I continued my education at Del Mar College. I have over thirty years of experience that ranges from residential and building design to civil/structural and petro-chemical piping design. I also have over fifteen years experience and training on CAD, with my past eight years at CITGO Petroleum as a CAD Systems Administrator. |
